Vidre+™ is a post-harvest technology used to delay ripening and senescence of harvested fresh produce (fruits and vegetables), thereby maintaining quality and extending shelf-life from harvest to consumption.
Vidre+™ should be used soon after harvest to obtain the maximum benefit in senescence control and maintaining quality and freshness of the produce.
The roll with stickers is packed in an aluminum bag. Only open this bag if the roll is used immediately after. If for any reason, a stop or long break are foreseen on the packing line, place immediately the roll back in the aluminum bag and close it tightly. It is advised to use the entire roll within 1 working day.
Do not manipulate the stickers with humid and/or wet hands or in high humidity and/or temperature environment. This could activate the sticker before it is in contact with the fresh produce. Wear protective gloves while manipulating the stickers and keep them dry at all times.
Sticker 45 cm² for liner bags.
To treat fresh produce that is packed with a liner bag or packed in individual containers placed in a liner bag, peel off the sticker from the roll and stick it in the internal side of the liner bag, in contact with the fresh produce. Avoid placing the sticker where the liner bag overlaps.
The roll is a tear off paper roll. If preferred, tear off the paper at the dash line with the sticker on and simply place the paper inside the liner bag on the fresh produce or between punnets, clamshells or flow packs. Then close immediately the liner bag. In this case it is not needed to peel off and stick the sticker in the liner bag.
One (1) sticker is designed to be used in a box volume lower or equal to 22 liters. Calculate the volume using the box dimensions H x W x L provided by your supplier.
Sticker 3.6 cm² for use in individual containers
To treat fresh produce that is packed in individual containers such as heat-sealed punnets, flow packs and clamshells, peel off the sticker from the roll and stick it inside the container: on internal container walls, or on internal side of the flow pack. Do not place the sticker on the internal bottom side of the container (under the fresh produce).
The sticker must be placed in the container before it is closed (or before heat-sealed). Do not place any other sticker or insert on top of the Vidre+™ sticker, otherwise the release of 1-MCP will be blocked.

One (1) sticker is designed to be used in a container with a volume lower or equal to 1.8 liters. Calculate the volume using the container dimensions H x W x L provided by your supplier.
Do not place ethylene absorbers (sachets, cards, bags or any other type) in the fresh produce packaging alongside Vidre+™ stickers. Fruits and vegetables must be exposed to the 1-MCP released from Vidre+™ in the packaging: liner bag, punnet, clamshell or flow pack. Place the sticker just before the packaging is closed. It is not advised to apply Vidre+™ in outdoor facilities or in the field due to exposition to high and uncontrolled humidity and temperature.

Wear protective gloves before use
IF IN EYES: rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing.
If eye irritation persists, Get medical advice.
Storage and disposal
Vidre+™ should be stored under dry conditions in the original sealed packaging at temperatures below 25°C. If bag un-opened: stickers must be used within 24 months.
Once the aluminum bag is opened use the full roll without stopping.
If a roll is not used completely, place it back as soon as possible in the original aluminum bag and close the bag hermetically. Use the roll as soon as possible within 24 hours.
Disposal of used stickers:
The sticker is made of PP. After use, used stickers should be disposed of in the recycling bin similarly to other packaging meant for recycling.

Except as expressly provided herein, Janssen PMP® makes no other warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. The buyer assumes all risks associated with the use, handling or storage of this product.
Usage Guidelines
To ensure effectiveness and safety, the buyer and user must follow all instructions and guidelines provided by Janssen PMP®. All risks, including but not limited to ineffectiveness, crop injury, or other unintended consequences arising from factors out of Janssen PMP’s control, such as weather conditions, presence of other materials, or failure to follow label directions, are assumed by the buyer or user.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Janssen PMP® shall not be liable for any consequential, special, indirect, or incidental damages, including loss of profits or income, resulting from the handling, storage, or use of this product. The exclusive remedy for any cause of action arising from the use of this product shall be limited to the purchase price of the product. By purchasing or using this product, the buyer and user agree to these terms which may only be modified by a written agreement signed by an authorized representative of Janssen PMP®.
