How Vidre+™ works 

Fruit releases a natural hormone, ethylene, which triggers the ageing process when it attaches to an ethylene receptor in the produce. The 1-MCP released by Vidre+ stickers keeps ethylene from doing so by blocking that receptor, thus slowing down the fruit’s ripening process and increasing its shelf life. The result? Longer sales windows for your high-quality produce. And demanding retailers and consumers falling in love with the quality and look of your fruits and vegetables.
